Advisory Council Overview

At Delta, shared decision making is a basic principle of governance. Advisory Council, composed of 14 students, three parents, three teachers, and the Director (a non-voting member), meets monthly to advise on policy, assess program needs, and make recommendations on scheduling, budgets, curriculum, the school environment, and other related matters.
 
Mission Statement: "The Delta Advisory Council is a representative body that advises the Director and serves as a catalyst for positive action within Delta and the surrounding community."
